What size of vehicle can I store?

At HAExclusive we like to offer services that reflect our clients requirements and try to make space available for most vehicles sizes.
We're not just limited to cars. If you happen to have a cherished Campervan that has a maximum length of 4.8 meters with a width and height of less than 2.2 meters, then we will be able to accommodate you with no extra charge. However, vehicles that are outside of these standard dimensions can be accommodated but with an additional charge.

Here at HAExclusive we have a separate dedicated building specifically for Winter Vehicle Storage where your pride and joy can be safely stored over the Winter period in a warm, dry and secured environment. With prices starting from as little as £35.00 a week for a minimum 12 week commitment period you can be confident that your Campervan, Modern Classic, Electric Vehicle (EV), Sports or Supercar will be looked after and kept safe until it's time for the fun season to begin.

Protect Your Electric Vehicle This Winter

As the owner of an EV you probably know that the car Lithium-Ion batteries are managed. However, to protect and prolong your batteries lifespan and range it's best to keep them charged between 20 and 80 percent and kept within a specific temperature range. In the UK it does get very cold in the winter and the batteries if required are pre-heated to protect them. However, the number of charging cycles will increase as the outside temperature drops. Just like your smart-phone increased cycles means reduces battery life.
Storing your EV in our environment controlled facility will therefore help preserve the Life and Range of your car.

Why pay premium rates to store your car in London while it's in hibernation? Let the team at HAExclusive pick up your beloved vehicle from your current location, and safely transport them to our secure facility located in Berkshire. When you're ready to get back behind the wheel of your car, we can then transport it back to you. Alternatively, you can catch the fast train (less than 45 minutes from Paddington and Waterloo) to our local train station, and we can collect you from there.

How will my car be protected while in storage?

On arrival, your car or campervan will be hand washed and inspected for damage. It will then be photgraphed before being prepared for storage, and copies of the images will be made available to you for your records.

In addition to our designated area for Check-In, Preparation and Detailing, all cars are stored in a secure, indoor location that is clean, dry and protected from the elements. You can also opt for our temperature and humidity-controlled storage facilities, which have additional insulation and are kept at a relative humidity level of 50-55%.

Your vehicle will be checked on a daily basis to make sure that there are no leaking fluids or oil and the tyre pressures will be checked periodically. If we find any problems with your car, we'll notify you and you can decide how you would like the problem rectified.

Choice of options to further protect your car.

Battery Charger/Conditioner

To protect the battery from draining and to maintain onboard computer and entertainment system settings most cars will require a trickle charger to be connected while being stored. We can either fit one for a fee (then it's yours to keep) or it can be provided as part of your chosen storage option.

Protective Cover

Car Covers help to keep your car in a pristine condition and here at HAExclusive we provide British made fully breathable tailored stretch covers tightly woven with a Lycra Satin blend. If you don't have a cover we can either supply one for you to own or provide it within your chosen
storage option.

Airchamber

Airchambers provide an advanced controlled environment for your investment. Housed in a spacious chamber with a filtered airflow of up to 50,000 litres an hour not only will your car have additional protection from moisture and dust it also prevents the risk of minor body damage while providing UV protection.

Ethanol Free Fuel

As many classic and high performance car owners have discovered, modern unleaded petrol is hygroscopic. The reason for this is the mandatory inclusion of ethanol in all premium unleaded and most super unleaded forecourt fuels. High levels of ethanol in petroleum fuel results in increased moisture levels, which is likely to cause rust and corrosion in the fuel system. This badly affects carburettors and fuel lines, as the ethanol itself is also corrosive to aluminium, bronze and zinc typically found in carburettors. Both these issues are compounded by long periods of non-usage.

For those cars that are with us for the medium to long term, HAExclusive can provide and add Ethanol Free Fuel as an option for our customers. This specialised fuel has been specifically formulated to be kinder on gaskets, O-rings and other fuel system components compared to unleaded petrol. It also contains detergent additives for engine cleanliness, as well as antioxidants and corrosion inhibitors to extend storage life of up to 5 years.

Health Checks

Our premium packages include the option for 30-or-90 day health checks on your car. We'll start and run up your car to opperational temperature lightly exercise Breaks, Gears, Clutch, Steering etc and check all vehicle Lights, Indicators and onboard systems. If you'd like us to exercise your car on the road, we'll do this on a dry day on a limited 10-mile circuit on local roads.

Check-In and Check-Out procedures

Our thorough Check-In and Check-Out procedures give you total peace of mind-both in terms of your privacy, and the protection of your investment.

Privacy and Access

On completion of the Check-In procedure, you'll be allocated a unique identity number and a secure Dropbox folder, with 256-bit Advance Encryption and read only privileges. You'll be able to access copies of your documents, reports and photographs securely, and at any time, via the internet.

Insurance

HAExclusive hold a Fully Comprehensive Motor Traders Insurance policy that protects your vehicle while it is our care against all risks.
We have £5m Public Liability with full road risk cover up to £2m and depending which Storage Option you choose, insurance is included up to a declared insured value of £160,000.

Because your vehicle will be insured with us, you will need to inform your insurance company that the car is with HAExclusive Car Storage. This normally has the desired effect of reducing your policy rates while the car is in our care. However, it is very important that before it leaves us, you arrange to fully insure the car once again under your own policy so that you have continued protection and remain road legal.

If your policy has expired and you have chosen not to renew, or you have cancelled it completely, you must let us know.
We will be very happy to provide a quotation to renew your insurance when it's time to take the car out of storage and because your car is with HAExclusive we will be able to provide a competitive rate.
